About Us
This is not an attempt in blackening (no pun intended) the SAA, also known as South African Airways.
On the contrary, in the hope that someone in charge of this organisation will realise that their inability to deal with serious issues on their airline, and at their airports can cost lives.
My experience with the SAA is not unique. This website is an attempt at exposing all the newspaper articles, websites and blogs found on the internet dealing with similar issues.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist (maybe appointing one wouldn't be such a bad idea) to figure out that this company has gone from bad to worse, and still, continues to deteriorate.

Small Print
The Warsaw Convention
What the airlines fail to tell you is what they consider the value of your luggage. Bound by the above convention airlines are only liable for a small amount of the value of your luggage. In fact, in the case of my lost luggae it was deemed to
be US$20 per kg.
So, if you manage to buy yourself
a $300 jacket for extreme cold weather, and it weighs one kg,
you are screwed when you land and it has been stolen.
You can always spend some of your holiday money, and when you go back to wherever you live, you can claim on your insurance, as the polite call centre staff points out.
In the meantime, freeze yourself to death. Or, just don't bother flying SAA.
